E-Dolphin

How It Started

Me, this is Ralf Jansen a friend and business partner of Nicolas Flores, the founder of E-Dolphin, the first electric Jetski made in France. After surviving a serious motor cycle accident in 2011, Nicolas understood how fragile life can be and decided to change his life style. In 2013, he went back to school and enrolled in KEDGE’s Business Engineering Master program.

He subsequently launched his E-DOLPHIN project in 2017 and then launched Dolphin Personal Watercraft in 2018. Nicolas is an enthusiastic water sportsman and pursues the goal of water sports being environmentally friendly. Since already 4 years Nicolas and myself are working closely together as the management team behind E-Dolphin.

In a nutshell, we are a handful of enthusiastic entrepreneurs sharing the same goal of bringing zero ocean polluting PWC’s to the market. In order to achieve this ambitious target, we are developing an electric driven Jetski based on recycled plastic parts collected from the oceans, using 3D printing technology. The project passed already the technical feasibility study phase and a functional prototype is under testing since several weeks. Everything is self financed so far and we are now in the process of bringing the project to the next level by making it serial production ready in 2023.

We already received several inquiries for pre-orders from different sources all over the globe which proves that the market is ready for such a product. The race for the electric PWC market has just been started and we want to be part of it.
